Memories from Iquique
Baquedano is Iquique's main street. At my last visit in
1998 it was a two-way street with heavy traffic. Now it
is a pedestrian's domain.

Iquique is an isolated beach. 6 kms wide, 2 kms deep.
Isolated from the "pampa" by a cliff of 600 m high.
